Explore five separate Taos museums whose unique historic buildings and exceptional collections present the art, history, and culture of Taos and northern New Mexico. Collections at the individual museums include prehistoric and contemporary Native American pottery, textiles, jewelry and art; Spanish colonial and contemporary devotional and domestic arts; and paintings by the Taos Society of Artists and the artists who made Taos one of America's premier art colonies. Additionally, you’ll experience a guided tour of the Mural Room in the Old County Courthouse in Taos Plaza. Here you’ll see the Depression-era WPA murals created by early Taos artists.

Michael’s has been a “Taos landmark” for 39 years and customers rave about Michael's authentic Northern New Mexican experience. Their menu offers both American and Spanish foods with breakfast as an option all day, but it might be the sweets in their bakery that earns them local fame. Lunch for Two at Stella’s Italian Restaurant: “It’s like Little Italy!” raves one reviewer. Affordable tasty Italian food with attentiveness to your food sensitivities.

Dinner for Two at Love Apple: La Pomme D’Amour (The Love Apple), the name the French adoringly gave the tomato in the 16th Century. Formerly the Placitas Chapel, this restaurant still provides sanctuary with their food prepared from scratch daily using as many locally-grown ingredients as possible.
