Billy the Kid Outlaw Gang

Everyone interested in the legend and lore of Billy the Kid is invited to join the Billy the Kid Outlaw Gang. Founded in Fort Sumner in 1986, the nonprofit organization supports several commemorative activities.  It publishes an annual newsletter as well. The outlaw gang also hosts a general membership meeting and cookout every July, when it also schedules a guided tour of a place the Kid would have known. For further information, contact the outlaw gang at:
