Ooh La La Christmas Home Tour Benefits Wounded Warrior Project
Albuquerque, NM. Come be a warrior for the wounded and tour eight amazing Albuquerque
area homes spectacularly decorated for Christmas. It's all part of the Ooh La La Christmas
Home Tour in New Mexico weekend, a benefit for Wounded Warrior Project.
A patriotic evening kicks off the weekend with a celebration for our unsung heroes
Friday, November 6, from 6-9:30 p.m. at an event emceed by KOB-TV Channel 4 personality
Steve Stucker at Atlantic Aviation's hangar. The evening, of fun, and a mess-hall style New Mexican buffet, includes entertainment and a live auction. A representative from Wounded
Warrior Project will share his story. Tickets for the kickoff event are $100 per person.
The Christmas home tour begins Saturday, November 7 from 11 am to 7 pm and continues
Sunday, November 8 from 11 am to 5 p.m. Tickets for the two-day home tour are $20 per
person. All active duty military personal with an ID are welcome to join the Ooh La La Home
Tour free of charge.
'No matter your political affiliation, you'll enjoy this event honoring the sacrifices of our
wounded service men and women,' says Tern Krueger, Director & President of Ooh La La
Christmas Ho e Tour of New Mexico, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, who has two
sons in the military. 'Last March at the Memorial Run for the Bataan Death March at White
Sands Missile Range in New Mexico, 32 amputees started the course. I watched this cadre of
wounded warriors line up and was overwhelmed with emotion and was amazed. I felt
compelled to get involved.'
Ooh La La Christmas Home Tour in New Mexico was started by a group of New Mexicans
who wanted to make a difference In the lives of severely injured service men and women,
Ooh La La Christmas Home Tour's mission is to raise awareness of and money or our
severely injured service men and women returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. In 2009, the
tour and kickoff event benefits Wounded Warrior Project.
The mission of the Wounded Warrior Project is to honor and empower wounded warriors.
WWP serves to raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for he needs of severely injured
service men and women, to help severely injured service members aid and assist each other
