The 4th Annual ECHO Chainsaw Carving Series Championship is traveling to the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta in October 2008 to garner 'wishes' for Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Mexico. On the Fiesta grounds, October 4 & 5th, eight world-class, master chainsaw carvers from four qualifying events will compete for cash, prizes & the ECHO Cup. They have 20 hours to produce masterpiece sculptures. The final sculptures will be judged on Sunday, October 5th and then auctioned with all proceeds benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Mexico. This year's carving theme mirrors the Fiesta's theme of 'Launching Dreams' and ECHO has set a goal of raising two wishes per auctioned sculpture. One 'wish' is $5,000.
