The advertising program is responsible for promoting New Mexico as a visitor destination to the world through paid advertising. Promotions include print, radio, television, online, special promotions and our Web site www.newmexico.org.

Additional Information: The New Mexico Tourism Department received the following questions regarding the Region III (SE) RFP.

Question 1: Is the focus in-state tourism or out-of-state? Is this at the discretion of the planner?
Response: The focus to promote the SE region of New Mexico is based on recommendations from the agency to the regional marketing board as to where the region can get more “bang” for their buck. The SE region, in the past, has advertised in Local IQ, Madden Pre-Print, El Paso Visitors Guide, New Mexico Magazine and New Mexico Vacation Guide.

Question 2: Will we have the opportunity to work with specific organizations within the SE Region. i.e. Ruidoso Downs, Carlsbad Caverns, etc?
Response: This RFP relates directly to the SE regional marketing program which represent those specific organizations; however the agency will not directly advertise or promote these organizations separately.
