Central Region of New Mexico
This region has the largest metropolitan area in the state along with an international airport (the Sunport), a major stop on Amtrack, many museums, pueblos, scenic byways and the International Balloon Fiesta.
Albuquerque - Famous for its International Balloon Fiesta held every October. The balloon glows are a site to behold.
Belen - This lovely city located on the banks of the Rio Grande, is a railroad and agricultural community.

Cochiti Lake - Located between Santa Fe and Albuquerque with campgrounds, boating and fishing.
Corrales - This village sits in a lush verdant valley on the Rio Grande. Though you are minutes from the metropolitan area of Albuquerque you fill you are in a different peaceful world.
Cuba - The Cuba area is known for its wildlife and beautiful views.

Edgewood - Founded in the early 1930's, Edgewood was the homestead of a number of families that still maintain deep roots in the community.
Estancia - Located at the heart of the Estancia Valley just south of Moriarty, Estancia (which means “resting place”) is rich in history and character.
Isleta - Originally established in about the 1300s, its name comes from the Spanish language and means "little island."

Kirtland AFB - Located in the southeast quadrant of Albuquerque, N.M., adjacent to the Albuquerque International Sunport.
Laguna Pueblo - The pueblo consists of six villages with a total population of 3,815 people, according to Census 2000 figures.
Los Lunas -Diverse in its culture, diverse in its economy, architecture, scenery, professions, recreations, history, and by the looks of things, diverse in its future.

Mountainair - Located on Abo Pass between the Rio Grande and the Estancia Valley this is a ranching and farming community near ancient Indian country.
Peralta
Pie Town - Known for its pies, the Annual Pie Town Festival on the every second Saturday in September. this town has been written up in various television programs and national publications, such as the February 2005 issue of Smithsonian Magazine.
Placitas - The views are endless with breathless dramatic panoramas.
Rio Rancho - Rio Rancho sits on a mesa overlooking the Rio Grande Valley, the Sandia Mountains, the city of Albuquerque, and surrounding mountain ranges.
Sandia Park - Located in Bernalillo and Sandoval Counties, immediately northeast of Albuquerque, the range falls largely within Cibola National Forest.
