Aztec

NorthWest Region of New MexicoNestled on a high plateau in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Aztec stretches along the Animas River. Eleven buildings on Main Street and 67 residences are registered with the National and State Register of Historic Places. Architectural styles include Classical Revival (turn-of-the-century), Victorian, Queen Anne, and Free Classic (combination of the Queen Anne style and Colonial Revival style).
