Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park

Southwest region of New Mexico Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park follows the Rio Grande for three miles along its west bank between the Calle del Norte Bridge (Mesilla Bridge) and Mesilla Dam. The park includes a variety of natural habitats, including the Picacho Wetlands. The wetlands are a joint habitat restoration project of the Southwest Environmental Center (SWEC), the City of Las Cruces, Elephant Butte Irrigation District and the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish.
