We appreciate your interest in the New Mexico Clean & Beautiful grant funding program. In an effort to make this process as smooth as possible, we would like to share these tips for completing your online grant application.

  • Go to culturegrants.org
  • Click on Sign Up if this is your first time applying for any of the New Mexico Tourism Department’s grant applications since 2013.
  • Click on Log In if you are a returning user. This includes applicants to FY16 NMCB, CoOp Marketing &/or Event Sponsorship.
  • Once logged in review the eligibility requirements. You can view the application form and additional support documents.
  • Next, gather all the material you will need to complete the application.
    • We strongly suggest applicants do this prior to starting the online process.
    • Should you choose to start the application, leave and return, be sure all your changes have been saved before logging out. Upon your next login, you will return to the home page and can access your data by clicking on the My Grants tab, then using the Table of Contents to return to where you left off. Important: This is only possible when using the same computer and same web browser and that browser is enabled to accept cookies.

Allow ample time for the application process. We hope you will utilize part of the month to brainstorm projects and events; devise clearly defined goals and objectives; identify partners; outline your implementation plan within a specific time frame and know how you will collect measureable results for end-of-year reports. The evaluation committee will be looking for evidence of careful planning so we urge applicants to begin early.

ONLY applications completed online, in their entirety and submitted by the deadline date, March 18, 2016 at 5:00 P.M. (Mountain Time) will be accepted for consideration.

The New Mexico Tourism Department cannot be held responsible for loss of data due to unstable Internet connections or other technical issues. It is the responsibility of applicants to ensure computers are in good working order and browsers support the online application software.
