Located at the top of the Enchanted Circle amongst the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, Red River Ski Area has been offering family friendly fun since 1959!

At Red River Ski and Snowboard Area the attitude is laid back, the people are friendly, and with an average of 18 feet of snow each year and plenty of sun, conditions are great. With our mixed terrain, ski-through replica of a mining camp, and terrain parks, our mountain keeps skiers and boarders of all abilities entertained and challenged.

Red River Ski Area provides skiers with 30% Expert, 38% Intermediate, and 32% Beginner terrain, providing something for everyone.

Our summer family friendly activities include Scenic Chairlift rides, summer mountain tubing, mountain biking, an 18 hole disc golf course, hiking, fishing, and live music!

The mile-long 1,600 foot vertical Scenic Chairlift ride offers vistors brethtaking views of the surrounding area. At the top (an astounding elevation of 10,350 feet) vistors can enjoy the Tip Restaurant's indoor/outdoor bar & grill. The Platinum chairlift will be open full time starting June 15th through the Sunday of Labor day weekend, and will re-open for the fall colors over the Aspencade weekend on September 29th and 30th.

The center of summer activities on the lower mountain can be found at the ski area's main Chalet where families and "thrill seekers" can enjoy summer mountain tubing down Gold Rush Hill!
