Ski Apache

At 12,000 feet, Sierra Blanca towers over the Ski Apache Resort, owned by the Mescalero Apache Tribe in the heart of the region known as Billy the Kid country. Choose among 55 groomed trails across 750 acres, which get an average annual snowfall of 183 inches. The only gondola lift in the state takes you to the top of the area’s 1,900 vertical feet. Alpine skiing and snowboarding classes are conducted in both Spanish and English.
