Santa Fe's unique cuisine is as much a part of the city's soul as its 17-century architecture. Warm, spicy tastes and enticing aromas evoke rich cultural traditions while contemporary chefs meld native ingredients with new ideas to create a contemporary style of Southwestern fare. At the Santa Fe School of Cooking, you can experience this delicious cuisine in depth, including the techniques of master chefs, the lore of the region and, of course, fabulous food.

Regular cooking classes last about three hours, including lunch. Our talented chefs have written cookbooks, won prestigious competitions and appeared in the pages of glossy magazines. They share one important attribute"”they know how to have fun in the kitchen. Classes are offered several times a week and might include dishes like carne adovada, sopaipillas, posole and calabacitas, or something with contemporary flair such as Pecos black and red pork tenderloin with poblano-madeira cream sauce or lime-marinated salmon with roasted corn and black bean salsa.

We are located just steps from the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum. Our beautiful new facility will be completed near the last of September, 2012 . It will include venues for demonstration classes, hands-on classes and a charming patio for outdoor events. Our market is currently open for business and filled with New Mexican food products and unique cookware. All facilities are or will be wheelchair accessible.
