Cleveland Roller Mill Museum
This three-story adobe roller mill played a major role in the agricultural
economy of Northern New Mexico for a period of 80 years. Closed for production
in the1940's, it was one of the last mills to operate in the Mora Valley.
In its time, it was one of the two largest mills in the southwestern United
States. The mill is fully operable for demonstration purposes. A small
log mill originally from Las Trampas, NM, is located on the museum grounds.
A collection of 100 historic photographs of the area makes up the museum's
permanent exhibit. The annual Cleveland Roller Millfest features arts & crafts
booths, historical talks and demonstrations.
