The historic mining towns of Hillsboro/Kingston come alive with 1880s fun and festivities on Saturday, September 1 with "Celebrating 1,000 years in Hillsboro/Kingston: From Mimbres to Miners". Sponsored by the Hillsboro Community Center, events include an Arts and Crafts Fair 9:00 - 4:00; Tom Ying's Kitchen 9:00 -10:30 coffee and donuts, 11:00 to 1:30 Miner's Menu lunch, LIVE auction 1:00 - antique furniture; antiques, collectables, original art, full outfit camping gear, tools.
