Marjorie Eaton first arrived in Taos, NM in 1928. Eaton said, “I realized I had found my soul when I arrived in Taos.”
This is the first exhibition to focus on Marjorie Eaton’s vast portfolio of work, not only as a modernist painter, but also as a photographer and actress. The show also provides an unprecedented glimpse into Eaton’s personal life through never before seen letters, photographs and personal effects. Don't miss this special opportunity to intimately experience this pioneering female artist whose efforts from the early twentieth century and beyond continue to resonate today.
The exhibition will be on view through March 29, 2020. Winter Hours: Friday through Sunday, 10:00am to 4:00pm
Support for Marjorie Eaton: Her Life In Pictures provided by the Elizabeth A. Sackler Museum Education Trust.
