Start the new year of 2018 with a mile-long walk through the historic coal camp at Sugarite Canyon State Park. We will walk at your pace, and we'll finish in time for you to drive up the road and watch the Polar Bear Plunge at 1 p.m. at Lake Maloya! Participants should wear good hiking shoes and dress for the weather. Contact 575-445-5607 for more information. Regular park fees apply.
