The Fourth of July is celebrated with a variety of special events throughout Farmington! Special events and performances held June 28th to July 4th, 2018. Events include a gem and mineral show, fireworks on July 3rd, Party in the Park and an electric light night parade on July 4th. “Mary Poppins, the Broadway Musical” at Lions Wilderness Park sponsored by Sandstone Productions

Friday, June 29
10am - 6pm Gem & Mineral Show 
McGee Park Indoor Riding Arena, sponsored by the San Juan County Gem and Mineral Society

11am – 1pm TGIF Music & Lunch with Ben Gibson Duo at Orchard Park (intersection of Main Street and Orchard)

3v3 Basketball Tournament and Pancake Breakfast at the Boys and Girls Club of Farmington.  $125/4 person team, includes 4 pancake breakfast tickets for the morning of July 4th.  

9:25pm Fireworks Display from Sullivan Hill and simulcast on KWYK 94.9fm

Wednesday, July 4
7am Hoops and Hotcakes 
3v3 Basketball Tournament and Pancake Breakfast at the Boys and Girls Club of Farmington.  $125/4 person team, includes 4 pancake breakfast tickets.  All you can eat pancake breakfast for $5 from 7-9am.  Tournament play begins at 8:30am.  

11am - 5:30pm Party in the Park 
Brookside Park -Food, entertainment, fun vendors, live music by Company and Breezin’, games & activities for the entire family! 

  • 12pm - Skateboard Competition (registration begins at 11am) - Individual Runs in Age Categories:  10 & under, 11 – 14, 15 & up. 
  • 2pm - Water Balloon Dodgeball.  
  • 3pm - Papa John's Pizza Eating Contest (Tickets sold for a chance to participate from 11am - 2pm). 

9pm Farmington Rotary Electric Light Parade
