In collaboration with Santa Fe Music Collective, SITE Santa Fe presents a monthly evening of live jazz performances by some of the most talented musicians around. This month’s concert features the youngest brother and sole surviving member of one of most the talented jazz families, The Heath Brothers, jazz drummer Albert “Tootie” Heath will appear alongside his trio and “The Whole Drum Truth.”

In his brilliant career Tootie has played and recorded with Lester Young, John Coltrane, Dexter Gordon and Sonny Rollins. This Spring, Tootie received the most prestigious award presented to a jazz artist, the National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Masters Award. A Santa Fe resident for the last eight years, Tootie will be coming straight from a world tour of Denmark and Sweden that began in Los Angeles this August.
