The annual favorite of locals and visitors alike, “Halloweekend,” is back in Los Alamos on October 26th and 27th.
Halloweekend features two full days of events, including Trick–or–Treat on MainStreet in downtown Los Alamos on Friday, October 26, 2018. Main Street and Central Avenue, from 15th to 20th Streets, will close to auto traffic and become a safe pedestrian area where local businesses and organizations distribute candy to costumed families.
Another favorite annual event, the Pumpkin Glow, is organized by the Los Alamos Arts Council and will next glow on Saturday, October 27, 2018. The community brings their carved and decorated pumpkins for everyone to see on the Fuller Lodge lawn. Families then warm up to the music of a live band inside the Lodge. Don’t miss this family-friendly Los Alamos tradition.
Additional events on October 26th include Trick-or-Treat at the Los Alamos Medical Center from 3-5pm, Trick-or-Treat at Los Alamos National Bank from 3-5pm, High Tech Halloween at Bradbury Science Museum from 4-6pm, YMCA Costume Climb from 5-7pm, and the beloved Pet Costume Parade at 5:30pm. Events continue on Saturday, October 27th with Pumpkin Carving at Smith’s Marketplace from 10am-noon, Masquerade Recital at Fuller Lodge from 5-6pm, Pumpkin Glow at Fuller Lodge Lawn from 6-9pm, and Live Entertainment at Fuller Lodge by Eddy & the Nomads: 6-9pm.
