Pro Musica opens its 2018-19 season on September 22nd and 23rd with Esteemed Reputations. The Pro Musica Orchestra performs Haydn’s Symphony No. 92 “Oxford” performed upon his investiture at that venerable institution, followed by Pulitzer Prize nominated composer Christopher Cerrone’s High Windows inspired by the soaring architecture of St. Ann’s Church in Brooklyn, and concluding with the internationally acclaimed pianist Anne-Marie McDermott performing Mozart’s stormy Concerto No. 20 in D Minor, K. 466. Music Director and Conductor Thomas O’Connor leads the Pro Musica Orchestra in music that is radiant, dramatic and transcendent.
