Join a Bandelier Astronomy Ranger at the Juniper Campground Amphitheater for an exiting astronomy program, followed by celestial wonders viewing through giant telescopes. Hear about archeoastronomy at Bandelier and in the southwest, the latest scientific discoveries, or what it's like traveling near a black hole, then view the wonders of the night sky through huge telescopes operated by knowledgeable rangers and volunteers.
Sunday nights through September 2. Programs start around sunset (time varies by season) and end around 11pm, however you are not required to stay until the end.
Dress warm as mountain nights can be chilly, even in summer.
No sign up required, and no cost except normal monument entrance fees.
