Northern New Mexico is home to a diversity of spiritual traditions. Starting with Native American, then followed by Roman Catholic, Protestant missionaries and Jews. In the 1960's came groups of spiritual and social communes and communities of Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, and other traditions.
This conversation will introduce the many traditional and contemporary spiritual communities of northern New Mexico and the reasons why so many spiritual groups have been attracted to this area.
