Visual Poetry, Painting & Photography Exhibit

Taos, New Mexico – On Thursday afternoon, August 18, 2022, from 5 pm to 7 pm, Visual Poetry, an
exhibit of paintings and photographs by Norlynne Coar will open with a reception at the Dorothy
Romo-Manning Studio & Gallery in Taos, New Mexico. On Friday, August 19 at 2 pm Coar will talk about
the inspiration, origin and process of creating this exhibit, which will continue daily Friday, August 19
thru Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 11 am until 6 pm.

This exhibit features Coar's figurative and representational work in conversation with each other. The paintings and photographs create visual poetry in their relationships with each other, while each image inspires a verse. Landscapes, waves, wild horses, birds and figures flow into a visual narrative suggesting their symbiosis.
