About Michael Snyder

Michael Snyder first entered the hospitality and tourism industry when he joined Routes Bicycle Tours six years ago.   As a mechanic for Routes, Mike had to develop an understanding of the rental fleet, diverse tour and partner requirements, and compliance with the expectations for concierge-level attitude and team interactions. Mike is essential to the flow and quality control of the bicycle maintenance processes.  He has worked management and ownership over the past five years to enhance the standard bicycle “tune-up” offering, which gave Routes one of the most comprehensive, high-quality, and cost-effective bicycle “tune-up” processes in the city. Other bicycle shops frequently look to Routes in order to set their pricing and service menus thanks to Mike’s keen eye for product development. Bicycles are the essential vehicles through which Routes delivers its key products and experiences, and the company prefers that the internal mechanics to stay in the “background” so guests can focus on enjoying the tour experience. Mike continues to set the bar high for himself and his coworkers in all areas of customer service and exceeding customer expectations.  His dedication and expertise earned him a 99.8% Customer Satisfaction Vendor Award from Sandia National Laboratories earlier this year.
