Join Roswell, Las Cruces, Angel Fire, Española, Grants, Rio Rancho, Ruidoso, Gallup, Albuquerque and Carlsbad as Communities Celebrating their Citizens

We know that New Mexico is full of amazing people. From little league coaches and public servants to volunteers, veterans, and teachers. Every city, town, and village have remarkable citizens that make it such a special place to live.

The State of New Mexico, along with the New Mexico Bowl, is searching for four extraordinary New Mexicans who make their communities a better place to live, work, and raise a family. These individuals will be recognized by Governor Susana Martinez this fall and receive VIP access and special recognition at the New Mexico Bowl on December 15, 2018.

With only two week left for nominations, this is your final opportunity to shine a spotlight on your community by nominating someone your know as a New Mexico True Hero.  The nomination form is available at NMTourism.org.

Nominations are open to all ages and will remain open through 11:59 pm MT on September 3, 2018. A panel of judges from around the state will determine the Top 10 finalists, and four New Mexico True Heroes will be named this fall. The nomination form asks two key questions: “What makes this person a New Mexico True Hero?” and “How have the nominee’s efforts made a difference in his or her community?”
