Did you know that 4th graders can access national parks 100% free? Thanks to the "Every Kid in a Park" initiative from the national parks, 4th graders can get a free annual pass to every national park. The pass allows 4th graders and their families to access the national parks for free for the whole year. The initiative was introduced by Senator Martin Heinrich in 2017, and the Senator recently teamed up with Keep Doña Ana County Beautiful to take a group of students to White Sands National Park (pictured above).

Are you in 4th grade, teach 4th grade, or have a family member who is in fourth grade? Then you've got to look into the pass! Check out the Every Kid in a Park website for more information and to get your pass today!
