El Zócalo Cooperative Art Gallery is, as the name states, an artist-owned and operated gallery, a true co-op in the traditional sense. We continue to encourage each other to grow in our art. We also continue to grow in membership, welcoming other artists to explore what we have to offer them in terms of visibility and sales. We like to represent all areas of artistic endeavor. We are a retail gallery, open to the public. Located on the west side of the Old Town Plaza in historic Las Vegas, N. Mex., just steps away from the well known Plaza Hotel, and right next door to TV's Longmire sherrif's office, the co-op features works of art such as sculpture, paintings in oil, watercolor and acrylics, pottery, clay, woodworking, cut-paper collage, silver jewelry, beadwork, traditional Native American art, fiber arts, mosaics and more. We also have a large selection of smaller items such as one-of-a-kind greeting cards, as well as giclee prints and reproductions on cards, postcards, t-shirts, books, calendars and mugs.
