The site of the oldest Bath House in the area, (mid 1800's) our special therapeutic water here originates from an aquifer deep beneath the Valles Caldera--a long dormant inverted volcano high up in the Jemez mountains of northern New Mexico. This ancient sea water is rich in many beneficial minerals like calcium, magnesium, potassium, iron, silica, and sodium. You can be certain that when you "take the waters" here, you are soaking up the therapeutic minerals and nothing else. We use green technologies for disinfecting such as ionizers, ultraviolet light and an oxygen inversion system. The pool is drained and pressure sprayed weekly, and it's a flow through pool. We never use chlorine or harsh chemicals and we have a perfect record with the NM Health Dept! Our source water is 139 degrees F, but the pool is maintained at a comfortable 101-105 degrees and the number of people allowed in at one time is limited so our guests never feel crowded in. You can buy an hourly property pass or come for the day. (Limited availability for day passes). Our most popular pass is the discounted 2 hour pass. We also do private group reservations! You may bring in drinks and snacks, just no alcohol and nothing in breakable containers. Swimsuits required--sold in our on-site Gift Shop/Art Gallery. Children 14 years and over welcome. Open Wed-Sun. Closed Mon-Tues. For current hours, Special Events and other information, please go to www.GigglingSprings.com and find us on Facebook, too!
