The recreation area is split into two off-highway vehicle use zones. The northern three-quarters of the Glade are for limited trail use and 3,800 acres on the south end are managed as an open OHV area. Approximately 42 miles of marked trails for motorized trail bike and mountain bike riders are located in the limited OHV portion of the Glade. •Activities: biking, hiking, walking, horseback, OHV, birding, wildlife viewing. •Terrain: Trails of challenging slick rock and wide sandy washes. The rock crawling terrain has boulders, slickrock, mountain foothills, rock piles and mountain trails. •Facilities: None. Restrooms and drinking water are not available. •Location: The recreation area lies between NM State Highways 170, 574, and 516 with multiple entry points on dirt roads.
