KALH is an FCC Licensed Non-Commercial, Not-for-Profit Community Radio Station relying on listener support and underwriting sponsor for financial support. We broadcast Tularosa High School Wildcat Sports in all seasons. Volunteer Contributing Correspondents provide news coverage of all major local governmental meetings and community events. KALH is quickly becoming the ACCEPTED AUTHORITY for news in the Tularosa Basin. Our EXCLUSIVE Instant Interrupt System allows us to break into regular programming to air BREAKING NEWS, even when the station is operating in full automated mode with no one in the studios. As a member of the New Mexico News Network, we are able to access reports from major news organizations, statewide. Our DIGITAL CENTER gives us world-wide access to information and entertainment programs unequaled in the area. Our VARIETY format is roughly 60% Country where we feature new and returning artists as well the "Nashville" and "Texas" PRIME COUNTRY HITS. But, we also add a mix of R&R Oldies, Vintage R&B, Non-rock Pop, Classic Rock, Pop and Country Oldies in our regular mix, and Targeted Music Segments. Monday nights are BLUES from 6 to 10 PM. Wednesdays, Big Band from 7 to 9 PM, Thursdays are Bluegrass and Americana from 6 to 11 PM, All Country Saturdays till 7 PM then R&R Oldies 7 to 11. Sunday from Noon to 9 PM is SOLID GOLD including the Stuck in the Psychedelic Era show from 7 to 9 PM and a Chamber Music Concert from 9 to 11 PM.
