She interweaves sacred music from Japan, Tibet, India, and the Baltic nations of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania with Native American and Japanese rhythms into her own original compositions that draw upon her foundation in the blues, R & B, and jazz. Madi performs, solo or with an ensemble, from a vast repertoire of sacred and traditional music including ancient Baltic polyphonic chants, Afro-Brazilian invocations, Japanese Nihon Minyo, ancient Tibetan chants, Indian ragas, Celtic sean-nos, American gospel hymns, and medieval and modern liturgical music.
