Ouida Touchón, Artist Studio, Las Cruces

Ouida Touchón was trained as a painter at the Kansas City Art Institute and received her Masters in Studio Arts at UMKC before moving to Las Cruces in 2003. She set up a working studio for herself and guest artists that includes two presses, work benches and inking tables. Her work is on display throughout the studio. She welcomes visitors who are interested in fine art, and handprints, or just curious about the process of being a professional artist. Her work is shown in national galleries as well as museums, including the El Paso Museum of Art, the Museum of New Mexico/Paul Taylor estate, the Las Cruces Federal Building and the Dona Ana Community College collection.
