In 2003 we opened the first Sandia Chile Grill in a gas station. There was not any seating so you had to eat in your car. We served 4,000 meals in a busy month. It brought dining at the gas station to a different level. In 2006 we opened a stand alone restaurant at our current location. In 2009 we became a FDA approved facility and can Jar all of our chiles and sauces for distribution Nationally as well as world wide. We have sent items as far away as Italy. In 2012 we opened the Brewery. In Clinton’s first NM State Fair he entered 7 items and won 5 medals including a Best of Show in the professional division. Clinton and I are second and third generation New Mexican and we are very proud of our state and it’s heritage. Our New Mexico Farmers grow the Best Chile in the world. As other New Mexicans know, one of the hardest decisions we make daily is to have Red or Green Chile on our meal, so somedays it is easier just to add both!! It is with this NM Pride that we grill each and every one of our meals from only the finest and freshest ingredients while you watch.
