Pie Town is a "Cowboy Tradition". In the early 1930's Mr. Clyde Norman, a tall Texan and WW1 veteran who "liked to bake", began making dried apple pies at his upstart business on a piece of ground that lay along a little rocky ridge on the "Coast to Coast Highway." Later it became U.S. 60. Cowboys drove their cattle to the railhead east of Pie Town and on their way would stop and enjoy some of Clyde Norman's homemade Pies. Over time, the word was out that the best pies anywhere were to be found in "Pie Town". That tradition carries on today right here at “The Pie Source” Homestead Pie and Coffee Bar. Owned and operated by Cyndi Fowler, a tractor drivin, horse ridin, pie makin country girl who wants to make sure you get some of the best pie money can buy while traveling through Pie Town. Why “The Pie Source” Homestead Pie and Coffee Bar? Because all of our pies are served whole, no slices! We want you to have it all! Our 6 inch minis are enough for two, if you’re so inclined to share with yer partner, or just eat the whole thing yourself. We are the place to be for a relaxing time off the road and Great Pie!
