Thanks to an arid climate that’s perfect for preserving textiles, vintage shops are able to keep the styles of yore evergreen. Here are three recent arrivals to the Santa Fe and Albuquerque scenes.
Avenger’s Vintage | @avengersvintage
Albuquerque Das Anastasiou has owned vintage shops for 30 years—in Austin, Albuquerque, and San Francisco—but he just opened his Nob Hill nest last year. He’ll happily give you a tour through his collection, organized by era and garment type, with nothing made after the early 1970s. This immaculate spot is a good place to find a treasure you’ll wear forever—like a leopard faux fur coat, a classic suit, or a 1960s floral dress.
Paradise Club | @shopparadiseclub
Albuquerque Gina Pomponio and Noelle Sosaya opened Paradise Club in November 2017. Both have collected vintage since their childhoods, and their easy-cool vibe permeates the space. A collective with around 20 vendors, the downtown shop has a ton of denim, a great selection of T-shirts, and a sparkly gold floor that gets me every time.

Santa Fe Before Calixte Raifsnider had a permanent home on Rosina Street, she hosted lively pop-up shops at cool spots around Santa Fe. Everyone was stoked when she opened her boutique in July 2017, which also features garments from multiple local vendors. Beautiful vintage dresses, button-up shirts, and locally made accessories are just some of the gems Dandelion Guild has waiting for you. Plus, the space hosts monthly art shows, tarot readings, and craft workshops where you can learn to embroider. Why knot?
