WITH THE DAWN OF A NEW YEAR, many may feel compelled to consider cutting out the drink for a while (or forever), but tasty booze-free beverages—above and beyond the realm of Pellegrino and iced tea—can still make for an interesting happy hour. Santa Fe’s “Liquid Muse,” Natalie Bovis, a cocktail event planner, wrote Preggatinis: Mixology for the Mom-to-Be as she was planning a family and creating cocktails for girlfriends’ baby showers. The recipes will delight anyone wanting a tasty toast in 2021, even if the stork isn’t on the way. Become a believer by mastering this recipe.

Natalie Bovis has three cocktail books, including the alcohol-free Preggatinis: Mixology for the Mom-to-Be, on her website. We promise: You won’t miss the hooch.
