WilliamsburgWilliamsburg, New Mexico welcomes weary travelers off I-25. The little town came to be in 1950, when some folks in Truth or Consequences moved next door in protest of the new name!

WilliamsburgBusinesses near the I-25 freeway exit (75) at Williamsburg include a motel, two RV parks, several convenience stores with gasoline and diesel, and a long-established antique business.  Many of the town's residents are retirees who like the small village atmosphere.

WilliamsburgThe “old” state highway (187), a picturesque southbound route that serves as an alternative to I-25, is accessed via Williamsburg. Highway 187 between Williamsburg and Caballo is part of two byways - the Geronimo Trail Scenic Byway and the Lake Valley Backcountry Byway.
