Jen R. Miller joins the New Mexico Tourism Department as the Business Operational Specialist of the New Mexico Magazine.
Jen was born and raised in Michigan. After spending time in Pacific Northwest, she moved to New Mexico to be closer to my family. Jen earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Western Governors University. During her time in college, she worked in local government in central Washington.

Q: What do you like, so far, about working for the Tourism Department?
A: Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, plus I get to learn about all the great places to see in New Mexico so I can plan my weekend road trips.
Q: What do you hope to accomplish for the tourism industry as a member of Team True?
A: I would like to learn as much as possible and be a valuable member of the team as the Tourism Department grows.
Q: What is your favorite New Mexican dish?
Tamales, green chile, and Piñon coffee
Q: What is your favorite thing about New Mexico?
I love the history and culture in New Mexico, and the sunsets.
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: Reading, writing, road trips, hiking, crocheting blankets, and Star Trek.
Q: What sport would you compete in if you were in the Olympics?
A: Hiking, if it were an option, so how about rowing?
