Plan for Resiliency

In an effort to provide immediate and sustained assistance for tourism businesses, the Tourism Department has partnered with the Small Business Development Center Network to provide coaching and mentorship to help businesses navigate financial aid, identify specialized training, and adjust to shifts in regulatory and competitive environments for long-term success. The partnership provides tourism businesses with access to 7 business consultants to provide direct assistance and mentorship.

As a result of this partnership, a new addition to the resources this tourism business SBDC Network support team now offers is a Financial Modeling Tool. This tool is designed to use a business’s 2019 numbers, to then run a model with based on five potential revenue scenarios across the projected upcoming three years. The purpose is to assist business owners with determining financial future, needs and solutions.
