New Mexico True Heroes

Do you know someone that gives unselfishly of their time to make their community a better place? Nominate them as a "New Mexico True Hero" for the opportunity to see their efforts recognized at the 2017 Gildan New Mexico Bowl.

Nominate a "New Mexico True Hero" below by answering a few questions about the person being nominated and how they've contributed to the betterment of their community. Nominations will be accepted through Friday, September 22, 2017.

Four New Mexico True Heroes will be announced this fall and honored during the Gildan New Mexico Bowl.

The 2016 New Mexico True Heroes included: Nicole Chavez-Lucero (Albuquerque) for her work to make New Mexico safer from violent criminals, Michelle and Clay Schroff (Albuquerque) for advocating for and serving children in need, Kenneth Riege (Gallup), a U.S. Air Force veteran, for his dedication to serving his fellow veterans, and Dr. Kathleen Ramsay (Española) who founded both the New Mexico Wildlife Center and the Land of Enchantment Wildlife Foundation.
