In support of the Tourism Department’s mission to make New Mexico the primary destination for venturesome travelers, the Cooperative Marketing Grant Program (Co-Op) offers an avenue for tourism related, non-profit organizations, local and tribal governments to use 1:1 matching grant funds to attract visitors to their destinations and events. The program allows these entities to leverage the successful New Mexico True brand, building on the millions of cumulative brand impressions to draw visitors.

For FY17, 22 entities have been awarded a total of $325,000 through the department’s co-op marketing grant program. The awardees will use the funds to support advertising and marketing efforts in print, out-of-home and digital placements.
