Friday, September 21^st is the deadline to submit Native American events and traditions to help us enhance the 12 Ways to Celebrate Native American Heritage Month in New Mexico.

Native American Heritage Month is right around the corner. Native American culture and heritage has a huge draw nationally and internationally. In 2017, 11 percent of overnight visitors to New Mexico visited a Native American community, compared to a U.S. norm of 1 percent. This shows significantly more interest in Native American culture for the Land of Enchantment visitors compared to the U.S. as a whole.

Please submit your Native American Heritage Month related events, destinations and tourist experiences with brief descriptions to Brianna Gallegos no later than September 21st to be considered for inclusion in this campaign and featured on social media platforms.
