The New Mexico Tourism Department (NMTD) has allocated funding for investment in the creation or expansion of tourism projects that align with the New Mexico True brand’s promise to deliver “adventure steeped in culture.” Through strategic programming specific to the needs of New Mexico’s diverse tourism industry, the Rural Pathway Project aims to support local stakeholders in developing existing assets into successful tourism-products that fully embody the New Mexico True Brand Promise to deliver adventure steeped in culture.
The inaugural cycle of the Rural Pathway Project will complete its workshop phase on September 13, 2017. This incredible experience has offered greater awareness as to what tools and resources are most useful to our statewide tourism stakeholders, and will act as a guiding post for future cycles.
Applications for Cycle 2 of the FY18 RPP program will be accepted September 15-29, with workshop scheduling throughout late October and November. To learn more and apply for Cycle 2 of the Rural Pathway Project beginning September 15, please visit the Rural Pathway Project page.
