Graciously resting on a sandstone cliff thirty feet above of the confluence of the San Juan and the La Plata rivers, this traditionally built Northern New Mexico adobe is a place of rustic elegance. Each room has its own private entrance and private bathroom. Our setting is akin to a nature reserve where one sees many birds throughout the year as they visit during their migrations as well as our local wildlife of foxes, beavers, coyote, eagle, blue herons, Canadian geese, raccoon, deer and YOU. We live in a landscape blessed by desert light. Come to enjoy the play of colors on the mesas and desert floor and you will feel as though you are living in a Georgia O’Keeffe painting. Re-imagine the literary characters of Oliver LaFarge’s “Laughing Boy” or Tony Hillerman’s detectives Jim Chee and Joe Leaphorn.
