Alamo Gallery & Gifts is a co-op gallery operated by Socorro County Arts. It was opened in 2009 to give artists a place to show and sell their artistic creations. The Gallery now has over 40 artists, crafters, and other vendors, including Native Americans from Alamo Navajo Reservation.
The variety of works range from fine art paintings & prints, photography to wood craft, fine silver and contemporary jewelry to fiber arts, flowers & fudge, cards and pen & ink, herbs & remedies, chile oil, preserves, salsa, pottery, stained glass, metal art, books, historic photographs from the J. E. Smith collection, El Camino Real Historic Trail gifts, and collectibles.
It is the perfect place to find a gift!
The Gallery hosts free art workshops and an annual open house, co-sponsored by Socorro County Arts and the City of Socorro.
