New Mexico’s first State Park is set in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains amongst a forest of pines along Little Tesuque Creek. The park is a short drive from Santa Fe and offers excellent group facilities and campsites. There are beautiful hiking trails with spectacular views. You can enjoy Hyde Memorial State Park in the winter months too with snowshoeing, sledding and cross-country skiing. The historic Lodge is the perfect location for your next family reunion, wedding or other event.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to extreme fire danger and closures of the Santa Fe National Forest this park is closed until further notice. Visitors who have reserved campsites at this park during the closure should contact Reserve America at 1-877-664-7787 for refunds/transfers of pre-paid reservable campsites.
Hyde Memorial State Park Historic Lodge will remain open for previously scheduled special events throughout the summer. Access will be granted to the Historic Lodge . No other access allowed during closure.
