Illumination and emotion are the ultimate guides for my photo opportunities. From reflections to ancient structures, landscapes to street art, flowers to shadows, I am drawn by the smallest detail and the grandest vistas when the light and my heart lead the way. As a native New Mexican with many generations of ancestors to draw upon, I am drawn to images that tell a story of those who came before, those who will follow, and the surroundings that connect them. My hope is that my photographs will draw you in and enchant you as well.
Janet was recently voted the photography category winner at the New Mexico Artisan Market, 2018. In September 2018 Janet was one of a select group of artists who were allowed access to the Rail Yards complex by the City of ABQ for Artist Days at the Rail Yards. The goal was to document the historic complex before remediation and renovations begin in 2019. Her work, Rail Yards Reflection, was selected for purchase by the City of Albuquerque.
Her work is available framed and as matted and un-matted prints in various sizes. To purchase, contact Janet via cell (call or text) 505-480-6834 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
