Kelly Miller Art
14th & Griegos Albuquerque, NM 87107

Color makes me happy, and I love to see faces light up when they look at my work. I want to enable the imagination of the viewer to open their minds and emotions to a joyful way of looking at the world through colors. I paint landscapes, folk art and abstracts; most are saturated colors with whimsically imagined bold shapes. My work is a combination of mediums; oil or acrylic on canvas, as well as digitally created images printed with archival inks. I also dabble with illustrative images. The Art Prints images are created digitally using a variety of applications; either on my iMac, MacBook Pro laptop (using a Wacom tablet), or on my iPad using a stylus. I do not make direct copies, or paint over the top of photos. I paint freehand when I paint digitally and print with archival inks on 300# cotton rag or on canvas. Each one is a limited signed & numbered edition of 30. I create them with applications that emulate natural mediums. I've been experimenting with painting over the top of canvas giclées, resulting in unique and one of a kind pieces. Check out the events area on this site to find out where I'm exhibiting, as my home studio is not open for the public.
