khmogen design was launched to share my creative services to those interested in what I can offer. I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

My Vintage Tin Paintings started in May of 2017.  With the encouragement and support of a dear friend, Meg, who is an expert in salvage finds and other vintage pieces I started painting acrylic on some vintage roofing tile/shingles and the rest is history. I have now expanded to all shapes and sizes of vintage metal.

I am intrigued with the old metal ceiling and roofing tiles, vintage siding, file drawers, and vintage car hoods that have such interesting texture, patina and history themselves. Add a love of nature inspired natural subject matter and upcycled vintage metal piece and you have my work. I note where each piece is found or salvaged.
