Farmington's Museum of Navajo Art & Culture celebrates the vibrant art, culture and history of the Diné (Navajo) people. The collections on display will be used to exhibit, program, and educate visitors to the wonderful indigenous cultures of the Four Corners Region.
The Museum of Navajo Art & Culture is located in historic downtown Farmington, along the newly dedicated New Mexico Arts and Cultural District. The museum currently showcases a truly significant collection of Navajo Rugs. The displayed collection will feature Navajo textiles from the early 1900's to today and includes the Culpepper textile collection. Future plans for the museum include artisan workshops, educational programs and a resident artisan program. Museum hours are Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
